I am starting a new series called one week in Tokyo to share the interesting events/places I go to in the week.
The 1st picture shows the beautiful red leaf at Takahashi Korekyo Memorial Park next to Canadian Consulate.

When I first moved to Tokyo from Osaka in Sept. 1998, my friend found me a place at Ogikubo, which is one of the most popular residential areas in the west of Tokyo.

I lived in Osaka for about 2 years from 1996 to 1998, when I was studying at Doshisha University. One may ask why didn't you live in Kyoto then. I would love to. Actually, everytime I went to school in Kyoto, I had hoped that I didn't have to go back to Osaka. Kyoto is such a beautiful city to live and study. The reason why I had to commute between Osaka and Kyoto was that I had to work part-time at evenings, and the work was in Osaka. I hope one day I could live in Kyoto.
